In collaboration with the Osaka Castle hack team of the Television Show HACKATEN, Tongullman represented a pulse wave linked camera application “Shinpakutou.”
“Shinpaku” means heartbeat and “tou” means Japanese sword.
We remodeled and downsized the pulse wave sensor originally manufactured by NTT(Nippon Telegraph and Telephone) to enable the Blootooth connection. Embedded in a Samurai sword, it takes and sends the pulse wave data of the user to the paired iPad on a real-time basis, switching the screen images of outfits and backgrounds including Osaka Castle.
